Control Sebum with Etude House 에뛰드하우스 Wonder Pore Corrector (Review)
To choose my favorite product in the Wonder Pore line, I said I would definitely select this a little tube of holy grail as my top for sebum control.
To be honest, if it wasn't Pony saying that the Wonder Pore line is suitable for hot and humid country, I wouldn't buy the whole set at the first place.
I been using this little tube for months now, and I think it is by far the most effective product in this line.
Why? I will show you the reason.
Description
This is a light and moist gel-type spot essence that helps you maintain firm and clean pores with its multi-function if sebum control, pore toning, dead skin cell exfoliating, pore firming and moisturizing capabilities.
Directions
At the last stage if basic skincare, dispense a small amount and absorb into areas that need special care. For more effective absorption, massage gently with Wonder Pore Corrector's cooling tip instead of using fingers.

As you can see, it is in a little tube form colored in the blue/cyan.
Really like this color a lot especially in skincare, because it looks clean and pure.
And the design is pretty simple, you can spot the iconic shield design that printed on every Wonder Pore products easily.
At the front of the tube, you can see a flat, metal tip where the gel dispense from.
To dispense the gel, just gently press the body of tube.
Since the tip is flat, you can massage the trouble areas easily with it and if you want to relax your skin, you can always put it inside refrigerator about 5-10 minutes before you use it.
The tip will be so cold and the massage will feel so good, I always use it in this way.
Scent & Texture
It has a faint flowery scent that I really like a lot. It smells pleasant and refreshing.
While the texture is in gel type. It spreads on the skin surface smoothly and easily without any tugging.
It is very lightweight too.
The moment you spread out, the texture becomes more watery.
Performance
As I mentioned above, I used this products for months and I really like it.
Because it control the sebum so well. Like the oiliest part of my face such as forehead and nose, will not feel greasy after applied it and it helps me to secrete only a little bit of sebum throughout the day!
If you massage it with the tip, the gel absorbs quickly into the skin too just like the essence. So no greasiness and stickiness.
Normally I will used it on my nose, forehead and chin.
So, like all the other products from this line, they all have the Total pore solution 7in1 printed on them, so I assumed that they all can achieve the same effect on different ways.
If not, just blame them for printing the 7in1 solution on each products.
Out of the 7 solution, this correcter managed to control a large amount of sebum and moisturize the skin. I'll give credit for that. But I don't see the other effects as stated.
The amount of product is limited which means you don't have to apply it on your whole face, just the part that secretes sebum the most.
If you put it on the normal/dry parts of your face, it might dry out your skin. Be aware of it, since I faced it sometimes.
I am happy that it managed to help with my sebum problem but seriously I hope it can minimize the size of pores too, which sadly didn't work out.
And for the dead skin exfoliating and pore toning, sorry to said that I think it doesn't deliver what it promises.
If you looking for something to solve your sebum problem, try this one! Just don't expect any other effects.
